The Fuel for Success

We all strive to be successful. At our careers, family, and social lives, we all work hard to achieve. We wonder, what will help us in our endeavors.

A key ingredient to success is having a positive attitude. It is having an inner peace, a happiness that is based on the internal; not what is going on externally, be it the possession of material wealth or whatever else. It is the joy of living, no matter what is going on around you.

The way to achieve inner contentment is to discover the spiritual nature of ourselves. Within our physical selves lie an indestructible, eternal spiritual being. We can only grow stronger in the face of what life throws at us. By realizing this, we develop the confidence we need to face the challenges of life, enabling ourselves to prosper.

Make Your Life Better

We are empowered to improve our lives. Everything we need to prosper and grow is within each of us. It’s up to us to utilize our innate ability to control the direction of our lives.

You create your own reality. Whether you are consciously aware of it or not, your thoughts and feelings manifest into your physical world. Most of us are not aware of that fact, so our subconscious minds take control of our destiny. The subconscious mind, which maintains all processes not directly controlled by consciousness, contains all our fears, doubts, and worries. It’s going to manifest the negative things that we don’t want unless we take the helm.

If you do not like the way your life is going, simply change it. Change your feelings to positive ones. Think about what you want to do, then take action to make what you want happen. With thought and action, one can create the life one wants to live.

Fear not

Some people give others a hard time. Bullies in school, harassers at work, pushy salespeople, and aggressive drivers all make life hard for us. Why?

Aggression and violence are the symptoms. Symptoms of a malady within the aggressor. The underlining cause of which is the feeling of powerlessness and fear. It is from a position of weakness that bullies bully. They themselves were bullied, and that is the only way they know how to interact with others. They try to make themselves feel better about themselves by kicking others down. They only prove what kind of person they are, not what kind of person the victim is.

They exert all this energy trying to dominate others in a bid to feel powerful. Yet true power is being able to get the outcome you want with little effort. Just let the Universe revolve in its fashion, and it will reward you. Emit positivity, and you will be rewarded with more positivity. As effortless as flipping a switch.

Happiness

We all try to attain it. Happiness. That state of being we all wish would come to us.

How do we become happy. What do we need to do to achieve joy. Where does it come from. When does it come. And why doesn’t it come when we want it to.

These questions have puzzled humankind for ages. Much has been discovered since antiquity about what makes people happy.

It has been discovered by having inner peace through spiritual enlightenment, one can find true happiness.

Losing A Loved One

The passing of a loved one is one of the worst things that can happen to us. To never see them in this life; never being able to talk to them, tell them that you love them, hold their hands, laugh at their jokes, tell them that you are sorry, is so hard. It can be wrenching to the heart.

However, one must keep in mind that those we lost in this life are on their journey. So we must go on our journey, the journey to heal. Keep close the good memories of that person, as our thoughts of them keep them alive in our hearts. Live and prosper, for that is what they wish of us.

You Are What You Consume

Ever hear of the idiom, you are what you eat. It’s true. You are the product of what you consume. Whether it’s food, drink, mental, emotional, or spiritual, what you eat, drink, feel, hear, read, or watch make up who you are.

Would you like to eat something made by nature, or made by man? Would you want to consume the saintly, or the vile?

By keeping a keen eye on what we and our children consume, we can be on our way to living a better life.

Keep Going

Everyday, humanity pushes against the frontiers. New achievements move our species beyond the horizon. New advancements in science, math, and engineering better our lives and expand humankind’s body of knowledge. Athletes push their bodies to new limits. Artists create new works of beauty and creativity.

In our own personal lives, we too can strive forward. The housekeeper that takes night classes in nursing school. The apprentice working his way to a skilled trade. A teenager learning to play guitar. Or a retiree learning to knit, we all have opportunities to advance ourselves.

Always strive for more. Do not be complacent. No matter how many times you don’t succeed, keep trying. It makes us happy. That is because there’s something inside of all of us that makes us want to grow. It got our species to the point we are at. It is the expansionary nature of the cosmos built into all of us.
